"You Don't Have What It Takes"
• Pete Goodman • Series: Same Old Tricks
The enemy loves to whisper that we’re not good enough for God to use us, pointing to our weaknesses and flaws as proof that we should stay on the sidelines. That lie works because part of it feels true—we really don’t have what it takes on our own—but the deeper truth is that God has never needed our ability, only our willingness. Scripture shows again and again that God chooses ordinary, insecure, underqualified people—Moses, Gideon, the early church—because His power works best through our weakness, not our strength. The call is to stop believing the lie, say “yes” to God, and trust that He can do immeasurably more through us than we could ever imagine.
