Paul teaches that the life Jesus calls us into isn’t just about avoiding the old, destructive patterns of the world, but actively putting on a new, Jesus-shaped way of living marked by compassion, humility, forgiveness, unity, and love. This is what produces true peace—shalom—life as God intended it to be, in us and around us. Peace doesn’t magically appear; it’s chosen and lived out in real relationships, especially when it’s hard. As we’re rooted in Christ, grow in Him, and overflow toward others, we become people who make peace and reflect the world God created us for.
